About Jeepers Back the Blue

In 2017, Cpl. Stephen Ballard of the Delaware State Police was tragically gunned down in the line of duty. Since that day, Jeep owners from all over the country have been keeping his legacy alive by supporting the Jeepers Back the Blue Foundation. Focused on an annual event held at Dover International Speedway in Dover, DE, this foundation raises money for the families of fallen or seriously injured police officers and for scholarships for the children of LEO’s. At our annual Jamboree, jeep owners from all over the country, converge to take laps around the famed Monster Mile. The event also includes displays and demos from at least 10 different police agencies, awesome vendors, delicious food trucks, and tons of raffle items.

The foundation carefully picks families from around the country whose LEO loved one has passed away while active duty, but not in the line of duty, or was seriously injured to the point that they will be unable to return to work. We are also in the process of creating scholarship funds that will be awarded to children of fallen law enforcement officers.

Through the continued support of jeep owners all over the world, and amazing sponsors both within and outside of the jeep community, we hope to continue our mission for many years to come.
